The Yorkshire Dales Ringing Centre provides a local focus for the teaching and learning of bellringing in the North Craven area to meet local need. It works in conjunction with Settle tower and local ringing associations. It is based around Settle tower, and may use other local towers, with facilities including a simulator, refreshments, classroom and teaching equipment. There will be an initial monthly programme of bookable half-day courses. Students and helpers from approximately a 20 mile radius of Settle will be welcome. The Ringing Centre may also be used for Association and Branch training days.
The Yorkshire Dales Ringing Centre was accepted as a Recognised Ringing Centre by the CCCBR Ringing Centres Committee in May 2006.
